The Bikeflights BBXL is our widest box. The BikeFlights BBXL is optimized for shipping gravel, aero road and triathlon bikes without removing your integrated bars and stems. You can also ship fat bikes or mountain bikes in it. Packing the BikeFlights BBXL is a simple process that typically involves removing your pedals, both wheels, your rear derailleur and your seat and seatpost. Exact packing steps will vary for each bike or frame.

Sturdy

Bikeflights Bike Boxes are designed and rigorously tested to the ISTA 6A standard to offer confidence-inspiring levels of protection for your bike during shipping. To achieve ISTA 6A classification, the BBL had to withstand multiple drops of 18 inches and 36 inches, a horizontal compression force of up to 229 pounds, a vertical compression force of up to 1,732 pounds, and sustained vibration while loaded up to 300 pounds. Bikeflights Bike Boxes are designed to protect your bike for two shipments, although we have found in our own experience that we often get more shipments per box. Service life varies depending on the duration of each shipment.

Sustainable

Bikeflights Bike Boxes are reusable and recyclable. We have also minimized packaging waste by designing the outer cardboard wrapper to serve as a divider between your frame and front wheel when packing. The box is sealed using biodegradable plastic pinch clips, and the axle spacers are injection-molded recycled plastic.
